US spot Bitcoin ETFs have now become the largest holder of Bitcoin globally, surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin.
These ETFs currently hold approximately 1,104,000 BTC, which is more than Nakamoto's estimated holdings of 1.1 million Bitcoin.
This achievement places the ETFs ahead of other major players in the market, such as MicroStrategy, which holds 402,100 BTC.
The rapid growth of US spot Bitcoin ETFs demonstrates a strong demand from investors for regulated investment options that offer exposure to Bitcoin.
Recent data shows that these funds received net inflows of $766 million on Thursday, marking the sixth consecutive day of positive inflows.
Analysts predict that the size of spot Bitcoin ETFs could soon surpass that of gold ETFs, indicating a shift in investor preferences in the financial landscape.
