Sonata Software has recently secured a significant contract in Australia with a global leader in access solutions. The agreement, which was announced on November 27, aims to streamline the client's business processes, finance, and supply chain across multiple countries.
This will enable real-time engagement and involve migrating data from legacy systems and optimizing warehousing processes. Pilot programs are scheduled to take place in Australia, New Zealand, and China.
As part of the modernization efforts, Sonata will implement an intelligence layer using Microsoft Fabric to enhance the client's data-to-decision capabilities. The deal was finalized in Q1 FY25 and was mentioned during the July 2024 earnings call.
Sonata also reported another contract in the manufacturing and services sector in Australia in July, focusing on migrating legacy systems to the latest Microsoft platform for standardization.
Additionally, a mid-sized multi-year data modernization program was announced in November, further solidifying Sonata's position as a strategic partner in the region.
