Enviro Infra Engineers IPO sees strong demand with 1.63 times subscription

Enviro Infra Engineers' IPO received strong interest on its first day, with a subscription rate of 1.63 times. The bidding opened on November 22 and saw robust participation from various investor categories, reflecting improved market sentiment and the company's solid financial performance.

The firm aims to raise Rs 650 crore through this public issue, with shares priced between Rs 140 and Rs 148. The IPO consists of a fresh issue of equity shares worth Rs 572 crore and an offer-for-sale of Rs 78 crore from promoters. Investors purchased 5.03 crore equity shares against an issue size of 3.07 crore shares.

Non-institutional investors led the demand, subscribing 1.97 times their reserved portion, while qualified institutional buyers acquired 1.78 times their quota. Retail investors subscribed 1.4 times their allocation, and employee participation was notably high, with a subscription rate of 2.75 times their reserved shares.
