UBS has recently announced that it will be extending its partnership with the Swiss Venture Club (SVC) for several more years. This partnership solidifies UBS's role as a "Presenting Partner" of the SME network, starting in January 2025.
The integration of Credit Suisse's partnership into UBS has further strengthened the collaboration aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises. As part of this partnership, the SVC will be relocating its office from Gümligen to new premises in the ZID Bernapark in Stettlen/Deisswil at the beginning of 2025.
Michael Fahrni, the SVC Managing Director, expressed excitement about the contract extension and highlighted the opportunity to expand core activities focused on inspiration, networking, and recognizing outstanding SMEs through the Prix SVC awards. In preparation for the upcoming Prix SVC award ceremonies, UBS has appointed new organizational committee presidents. Yves Felder will lead the OC for the Prix SVC Suisse romande, scheduled for November 12 in Ecublens, while Hannes Weibel will preside over the Prix SVC Economic Region Zurich on November 26 at the Kongresshaus Zurich. Both events will take place with UBS as a key partner, marking a significant step in the ongoing collaboration between the financial institution and the SVC.
