Basil Heeb has announced his decision to step down as CEO of Basler Kantonalbank (BKB) at the end of February 2025.

Regula Berger, currently serving as Deputy CEO and Head of Commercial Client Sales, has been appointed as his successor and will officially take over on March 1, 2025.

Berger's qualifications and leadership skills have been recognized by the Bank Council, who are optimistic about her ability to guide the bank into its next strategic phase.

Basil Heeb's Tenure

Basil Heeb's tenure has been characterized by a focus on leveraging the strengths of BKB and Bank Cler, solidifying the bank's reputation and achieving profitable growth.

He will remain with the BKB Group until the end of March 2025 to facilitate a smooth transition.

Search for Successor

The search for a successor for the Commercial Client Sales division and the deputy CEO role will be conducted at a later date.
