Valais Cantonal Bank (WKB) has announced a reorganization of its Executive Board, effective May 1, 2025. This strategic initiative aims to enhance the bank's digital capabilities and compliance framework.

As part of the restructuring, Sophie Revaz will become the Head of the newly established "Legal, Compliance and Services" division, while Didier Eggel will lead the newly created "Digitalization and Transformation" division.

The expansion of the "Services" division into "Legal, Compliance and Services" reflects WKB's commitment to adapting to changing legal requirements in the banking industry.

Daniel Rossi, who has been the CEO and Head of the "Services" division since 2014, will retire in 2025, marking a significant leadership transition for the bank.

These changes are intended to position WKB to effectively navigate future challenges in the financial landscape.
