Indian markets poised for negative start after strong previous session

Indian benchmark indices are expected to open lower on November 26, with GIFT Nifty trading around 24,297. This follows a strong performance in the previous session, where the Nifty closed above 24,200 after the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance secured a decisive victory in the Maharashtra elections.

The Sensex surged by 992.74 points, or 1.25 percent, finishing at 80,109.85, while the Nifty rose by 314.60 points, or 1.32 percent, closing at 24,221.90.
