Resolute Mining Ltd. has recently announced that its CEO Terry Holohan and two other employees have been released from detention in Mali.

This release came after the company agreed to pay around $160 million to resolve a tax dispute with the Malian government.

Holohan and his colleagues were detained in Bamako after traveling to the country for discussions with tax and mining authorities.

The company has confirmed that all three individuals have now departed Mali following their release.
