intx and ned medical collaborate on advanced cancer treatment microspheres

SINTX Technologies and NED Medical have partnered to develop advanced ceramic-based microspheres for cancer treatment.

The focus of this collaboration is on creating microspheres that incorporate the Yttrium-90 radioisotope for transarterial radioembolization therapy targeting hepatocellular carcinoma.

These microspheres, known as CombiSphere, have unique properties such as radiopacity and porosity, which enhance their effectiveness in targeted chemotherapy and combination therapies.

SINTX will support NED Medical in meeting pre-clinical testing requirements and transitioning the microsphere production process from research and development to pilot production.
