Raiffeisen has started constructing its new Neuchâtel et Vallées center in Cernier. The official foundation stone was laid on October 23.
The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2026 and will cover an area of approximately 1,400 square meters. It will consist of a branch on the first floor and an administrative center on the second floor.
This project is a significant consolidation for the bank as it will bring together about forty employees who currently work in Gorgier, Coffrane, and Neuchâtel.
In a unique twist on traditional ceremonies, the bank decided to bury a tube within the concrete during construction. This tube contains 2024 coins, the bank"s articles of association, and building plans. This act symbolizes the bank"s commitment to the region.
