Barbara Heller has been re-elected by the Rhaetian government to serve an additional four-year term on the Bank Council of Graubünden Cantonal Bank (BCG), extending her tenure until March 2029.
Heller, an economist and business consultant with extensive management experience, has been a member of the supervisory body since 2021.
The council, which operates similarly to a board of directors, is led by Peter Fanconi and consists of seven members appointed by the cantonal executive.
Graubünden Cantonal Bank, established in 1870, has a presence across the multilingual region of Graubünden with over 40 branches and approximately 1,000 employees, making it one of the largest employers in the canton.
The bank's holding bond has been listed on the Swiss stock exchange since 1985, reflecting its longstanding presence in the financial sector.
