Mark Goddard has been appointed as the new CEO of Lombard Odier's UK business, effective November 26. He will be based in London and will report to Duncan MacIntyre, Limited Partner and UK Region Head, as well as Stephane Herrmann, CEO of Lombard Odier (Europe).
Goddard will be responsible for leading the bank's private client division and overseeing a team of bankers and investment specialists to drive Lombard Odier's growth in the UK market. He brings extensive experience from his previous roles at UBS, where he focused on UK clients, particularly entrepreneurs. Goddard started his banking career at Coutts in 2001 and joined UBS in 2005, serving as Head of UK High Net Worth clients.
Duncan MacIntyre expressed confidence in Goddard's ability to lead and develop the UK business during this growth phase. This leadership change follows the appointment of Chris Bonello as the new Head of the UK and Northern Europe Desk in Zurich, succeeding Fabian Rauber, who left the company earlier this summer.
