FirstCry parent Brainbees reduces losses while revenue grows significantly in Q2

Brainbees Solutions, the parent company of FirstCry, has announced a significant decrease in losses for the second quarter of FY25, reducing them to Rs 62.85 crore from Rs 119.4 crore in the same quarter last year.

The Pune-based company, which specializes in mother and baby products, achieved a revenue of Rs 1,904.9 crore, representing a 26.4 percent increase compared to Rs 1,506.88 crore in the second quarter of FY24.

In the previous quarter, Brainbees also experienced a decline in losses, falling from Rs 110 crore in the first quarter of FY24 to Rs 76 crore in the first quarter of FY25.

FirstCry made a notable market debut on August 13, with shares opening at Rs 651 on the NSE, a 40 percent premium above the IPO price of Rs 465.
