Clifford Abrahams has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Director of IG Group Holdings plc, starting from December 16, 2024.

Abrahams previously served as the Group CFO at Virgin Money UK plc since 2021. He has also held the position of Group CFO at ABN AMRO Bank and Delta Lloyd Group, and has gained valuable experience at Morgan Stanley and Aviva earlier in his career.

The Chairman of IG Group, Mike McTighe, expressed his satisfaction with the appointment, highlighting Abrahams' international experience and leadership skills. CEO Breon Corcoran emphasized the importance of Abrahams' expertise as the company enters its next growth phase.
