Raiffeisenbank to open new branch in Siebenen by fall 2026

Raiffeisenbank Region linker Zürichsee has announced its intention to open a new branch in Siebenen by fall 2026, relocating its advisory services from a nearby location. This strategic move aims to strengthen the bank's presence in the March district, as stated in a recent press release.

The new branch will be located in a modern development on Glarnerstrasse, covering an area of 150 square meters and designed to provide attractive workspaces for employees. The establishment of the Siebenen branch will expand the bank's catchment area to include Reichenburg and the Wägital.

Currently, Raiffeisenbank operates in Lachen and Galgenen within the March district. With the opening of the new branch, the focus in Galgenen will shift towards self-service options, while digital services will also be expanded. The bank's head office is in Pfäffikon, with additional branches in Horgen and Wollerau. A project competition for the interior design of the new branch is expected to be completed by May 2025.
