vp bank appoints urs monstein as new chief executive officer

Urs Monstein has been officially appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of VP Bank. He has been serving as the interim CEO since May.

Monstein joined the bank in 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer. He was chosen for the position based on his strong leadership skills and in-depth understanding of the bank's corporate culture and strategic priorities.

Philippe Wüst has been named as the new interim Chief Financial Officer. The current CFO, Roger Barmettler, and the CEO of VP Bank (Switzerland) and head of the European region, Mara Harvey, will be leaving the bank by the end of the year. This transition period is part of a reorganization effort.

The Group Executive Management will now oversee the Liechtenstein bank, its international locations, products, services, investments, and strategic transformation, in addition to the roles of the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer.
