UBS has recently completed the renovation of its headquarters in Monaco, which is situated at Villa Belgica on Avenue de Grande-Bretagne 2. The project was led by the well-known French architect Jean Nouvel and aimed to improve the experience for both clients and employees by creating a more accessible and functional space.
The renovated facility spans 1,700 square meters and is primarily occupied by around 90 employees from the Wealth Management division. The team in Monaco, led by Alejandro Velez, is responsible for providing wealth management services to clients in Spain, Portugal, and European intermediaries.
UBS Monaco has a strong presence in the market, managing over 13 percent of assets and serving 80 percent of its clients in the region. The architectural transformation successfully combines the historic Belle Époque style with contemporary design, featuring a striking monolithic and monochrome aesthetic that incorporates various surface textures.
