On November 20, the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will be closed due to the Maharashtra Assembly elections.
Trading in various segments, including derivatives, equities, SLBs, currency derivatives, and interest rate derivatives, will not take place for the day.
However, the commodity derivatives segment and electronic gold receipts (EGR) segment will be closed during the morning session but will reopen for trading in the evening.
The elections for the 288-member state legislative assembly are scheduled for November 20, with vote counting set for November 23, 2024.
Trading on both the NSE and BSE is expected to resume on November 21.
