Solana has recently launched an AI hackathon that offers a total of $185,000 in cash prizes to developers worldwide. The hackathon, powered by Send AI, encourages participants to develop innovative AI applications on Solana's blockchain.
The hackathon consists of six different tracks, each presenting unique challenges. The primary track, sponsored by ai16z and the Solana Foundation, awards cash prizes of $30,000, $20,000, and $10,000 to the top three AI agent products. There are also additional tracks focusing on AI agent infrastructure, supported by Kuzco, with prizes of $15,000, $7,500, and $5,000 for the best submissions.
Other categories in the hackathon include creating DeFi agents, tools for managing token liquidity, trading agents for spot trading, and autonomous chat agents. The hackathon is open to both solo developers and teams of up to five members, and submissions must be made by December 15. Participants will have access to expert mentoring, resources, and opportunities for in-person events.
