Godrej Consumer reports 13 percent profit rise and declares interim dividend

GCPL's net profit for the second quarter of FY25 increased by 13% to reach Rs 491 crore, compared to Rs 433 crore in the same period last year. The company's revenue from operations also saw a modest rise of 2%, totaling Rs 3,666 crore, up from Rs 3,602 crore in Q2FY24. EBITDA for the quarter grew by 8% year-on-year, reflecting the company's solid performance in a competitive market.

Additionally, GCPL announced an interim dividend of Rs 5 per share, indicating confidence in its ongoing growth and profitability.
