Uttar Pradesh aims for 32 lakh crore GDP by 2025 and job growth

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has stated that the state's GDP is projected to reach Rs 32 lakh crore by March 2025. He has emphasized that Uttar Pradesh is on track to become one of the fastest-growing economies in the country, leading to the employment of approximately 1.5 crore youth.

Adityanath has also highlighted the state's significant role in India's goal of achieving a USD 5 trillion economy, asserting that Uttar Pradesh is poised to become a leading economic powerhouse. Additionally, he has mentioned the achievement of securing 75 Geographical Indication (GI) tags across 75 districts, with Varanasi being at the forefront.

To enhance the state's logistics capabilities, Adityanath has mentioned the construction of a multimodal logistics terminal in Varanasi and proposed the establishment of a logistics hub in Gautam Buddha Nagar, further positioning Uttar Pradesh as a major logistics center.
