Apple is planning to start early production of the base model of the iPhone 17 in India, which is a significant departure from its usual production strategy.

This move is noteworthy because it will be the first time Apple manufactures a new iPhone outside of China. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the initial production phase for the standard iPhone 17 is expected to begin in the second half of 2025.
