At the CNBC-TV18 Global Leadership Summit on November 14, experienced market investors discussed the potential of the Indian equity market.

Ashishkumar Chauhan, Raamdeo Agrawal, Ramesh Damani, and Manish Chokhani were among the well-known figures who shared their insights. They emphasized the importance of long-term investment and predicted significant growth in the coming decades.

Chokhani expressed confidence that the stock market could increase by 10-15 times over the next 20 years, while Damani mentioned a possible "time correction" in the market for a short period. Agrawal highlighted the expected improvement in earnings growth and advised investors to be patient.

Chauhan reflected on the transformation of Indian stock markets over the past 25 years. He noted a substantial rise in cumulative market capitalization, which is now 2.5 times that of the banking system.
