Binod Kumar appointed as new MD and CEO of Indian Bank

Binod Kumar has been recommended as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indian Bank by the Financial Services Institutions Bureau, as stated in an official government notification.

Kumar, who currently holds the position of executive director at Punjab National Bank, will take over from S L Jain, who is set to retire next month.

The Bureau conducted interviews with 15 candidates on November 24 and based on Kumar's performance during the interview process, overall experience, and adherence to existing selection parameters, he was recommended for the position.
