ubs to update emergency plans following credit suisse integration

UBS Group AG is planning to update its emergency recovery and resolution plans after acquiring Credit Suisse, as required by Swiss financial regulator Finma.

The current strategy, which focuses on restructuring the business model to ensure business continuity, is considered insufficient in light of the recent crisis at Credit Suisse.

Finma has stressed the importance of additional options to improve crisis preparedness and resolution planning for systemically important banks. The revision aims to enhance UBS's ability to navigate future challenges and maintain stability in the financial system.
