Serbia Negotiates Extension of Russian Gas Supply Contract Ahead of Expiration

Serbia is currently in talks with Russia to extend its natural gas supply contract, which is scheduled to end in March.

The Serbian government is aiming to secure a similar volume of gas as outlined in the existing agreement with Gazprom PJSC.

Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vulin emphasized the strong relationship between Serbia and Moscow, stating that this partnership puts the country in a favorable position for discussions on economic matters and the gas agreement.

These negotiations were brought up during Vulin's participation at the Verona Eurasian Economic Forum in the United Arab Emirates.
