UBS has reiterated its 'Sell' rating for K+S AG, with a price target of 10 euros. Analyst Priyanka Patel has raised doubts about the optimism surrounding fertilizer companies, as investors in the chemical sector remain skeptical.
The report suggests that while urea fertilizer prices may stabilize, potash prices are expected to remain volatile, which could pose risks to K+S's operating earnings consensus. K+S shares are currently trading at around 11.295 euros, showing a slight increase of 0.40% from the previous day. The stock has experienced fluctuations across different trading venues, with prices ranging from 11.175 euros in Hanover to 11.345 euros in Hamburg.
The year high for K+S is 15.15 euros, while the year low is 9.97 euros. Given the market conditions and UBS's outlook, investors are advised to approach K+S cautiously.
