Angela Petruzzi, the owner and managing director of Petruzzi GmbH and Erich Fischli & Partner KLG in Näfels, has been nominated for election to the Board of Directors of Glarner Kantonalbank at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on April 25, 2025.
Petruzzi brings extensive experience in financial statement preparation, tax and management consulting, auditing in the SME sector, and restructuring support. She is also the Deputy Head of Finance at ESAF 2025 Glarnerland+. Petruzzi previously held the position of Head of Auditing at BDO AG in Lachen and Glarus, where she also served as Deputy Director from 2018. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting & Finance, completed in 2009, and became a certified auditor four years later.
Petruzzi will succeed Benjamin Mühlemann, who has been a member of the Board since 2021 and will step down at the 2025 meeting. Mühlemann has agreed to serve as an independent member for a transitional year following the unexpected departure of former Chairman Martin Leutenegger earlier this year. The Board of Directors expresses gratitude for Mühlemann's significant contributions during his tenure.
