The company generates revenue from a wide range of products, with skin care accounting for 39.9% of sales, followed by make-up at 19.7%, hair care at 15.4%, fragrances at 12.6%, hair coloring products at 8.3%, and other categories at 4.1%.
L'Oréal's net sales are divided into consumer cosmetics (36.9%), luxury cosmetics (36.2%), active cosmetics (15.6%), and professional products (11.3%). The company owns well-known brands such as L'Oréal Paris, Lancôme, La Roche-Posay, and Kérastase. Its products are distributed through various channels, including mass distribution, selective distribution, hair salons, and pharmacies.
L'Oréal operates 37 production sites globally, with net sales distributed across Europe (31.6%), North America (27%), North Asia (25.9%), Asia/Pacific/Middle East/Africa (8.4%), and Latin America (7.1%).
