In August, rents in Switzerland experienced a slight monthly decline of 0.6%. Ticino saw the most significant drop at 1.7%, while Zurich and Geneva had minor decreases of 0.1%. However, Graubünden reported a monthly increase of 1.3%.

Year-over-year, the rental market in Switzerland remains strong, with an overall growth of 4.2%. The highest annual increases were observed in Grisons at 11.7%, Zug at 11.4%, and Schaffhausen at 8.4%. Ticino had a more modest growth of 2.2%.

In Swiss cities, Lugano had a monthly decline of 1.1%, but still achieved a 7.4% increase over the past year. Lucerne and Zurich also showed significant annual growth at 9.1% and 8.9% respectively, while St. Gallen and Basel reported increases between 5.8% and 4.2%.
