UAE and World Bank discuss strategic cooperation for sustainable development goals

Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, held discussions with Ousmane Dione, Vice President of the World Bank for the Middle East and North Africa, in Dubai.

The focus of the meeting was on strengthening collaboration opportunities and the strategic framework between the UAE and the World Bank Group.

Al Hussaini emphasized the importance of the partnership as a model for international cooperation in achieving sustainable development goals. He expressed a commitment to enhancing this relationship through innovative initiatives that improve institutional efficiency and create opportunities for Emirati youth in international organizations.

Dione acknowledged the UAE's significant role in supporting development efforts and praised the Ministry of Finance's active engagement in driving cooperation and supporting development initiatives regionally and globally.

This visit marks Dione's second trip to the UAE since taking office, highlighting the strong ties and shared commitment to advancing development cooperation.
