Clifford Abrahams has been appointed as the chief financial officer and executive director of IG Group Holdings Plc, starting on December 16.

Abrahams has a strong background in finance, having previously served as the group CFO at Virgin Money UK since 2021, as well as holding similar positions at ABN AMRO Bank and Delta Lloyd Group. He also has extensive experience at Aviva and Morgan Stanley.

Abrahams holds an MBA from Wharton Business School and an MA in Economics from Cambridge University. The CEO of IG Group Holdings Plc, Breon Corcoran, expressed excitement about Abrahams joining the company, emphasizing the value of his expertise as the company enters its next growth phase.
