Trump Media reported a loss of $19.2 million for the third quarter, with revenue declining 5.6% to $1.01 million compared to the same period last year.
Following the announcement, shares experienced slight gains in after-hours trading, despite an earlier 18.6% surge that closed the day down 1.2%. For the first nine months of 2024, Trump Media recorded approximately $2.6 million in revenue and a net loss of $363 million.
The company, which operates Truth Social and trades under the ticker DJT, ended the third quarter with $673 million in cash and investments, reporting no debt. CEO Devin Nunes described the quarter as "extraordinary" and indicated that the company is exploring additional growth opportunities. Trading activity has been volatile, with shares down over 34% in the past week but still up 93% year-to-date.
