Thai Airways criticizes Rolls-Royce over extended engine maintenance delays

Thai Airways International PCL has expressed increased dissatisfaction with Rolls-Royce Holdings Plc over delays in engine maintenance.

Chai Eamsiri, the airline's CEO, disclosed that the engines powering their Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes are now undergoing maintenance checks for up to 120 days, compared to the previous 90-day wait. This has raised concerns within the aviation industry as it affects operational efficiency and fleet availability.

Thai Airways' frustrations highlight the broader challenges faced by airlines relying on Rolls-Royce engines, particularly in the supply chain and maintenance processes.
