Australia's pension funds have achieved a significant milestone, surpassing A$4 trillion ($2.6 trillion) in assets. This growth has been driven by robust inflows from compulsory contributions.
The sector experienced a remarkable growth of 13.4% in the year leading up to September, with total assets now standing at A$4.1 trillion. In addition to asset growth, overall contributions to the pension sector surged by 13.1%, amounting to A$191 billion during the same period.
