Chevron Corporation, a major player in the global oil and gas industry, has reported significant sales activity across its operations.
The refining and marketing segment is the largest contributor to total sales, accounting for 73.1%. Chevron will operate eight refineries with a combined output of 2.6 million barrels of product per day by the end of 2022.
The company also has a vast network of nearly 13,800 service stations worldwide under the Chevron, Texaco, and Caltex brands. In addition to refining, Chevron is actively involved in oil and natural gas exploration and production, which contributes 26.8% to its sales.
By the end of 2022, Chevron aims to produce 1.2 million barrels of crude oil, 0.3 million barrels of liquefied natural gas, and 199.6 million cubic meters of natural gas daily.
The remaining 0.1% of sales comes from other activities, including power generation. It is worth noting that more than half of Chevron's sales are generated outside of France, indicating its significant international presence in the energy market.
