hsbc appoints first female chief financial officer in its history

HSBC Holdings Plc has recently named Pam Kaur as its first female chief financial officer.

Pam Kaur, who is 60 years old, has almost 40 years of experience in auditing, risk management, and compliance.

She has held various positions at global financial institutions. Kaur joined HSBC in April 2013 as the head of internal audit.

Her appointment comes at a time when the bank is focusing on diversity in leadership roles.
