UBS has been instructed by Finma to revise its emergency and resolution planning.
The current strategy, which only focuses on business continuity through reorganization, is considered inadequate in light of the insights gained from the Credit Suisse crisis.
Finma has stated that UBS must include additional options to improve its crisis preparedness and resolution capabilities.
Consequently, the annual assessment of these plans for 2024 has been put on hold, allowing UBS to concentrate on strengthening its stabilization and emergency strategies.
