UBS has projected that Disney will experience mid-single digit EPS growth in fiscal year 2025, following a strong performance in Q4.
The firm expects a 7.2% year-over-year increase in revenue, with EBIT rising to $3.7 billion from $3 billion last year, resulting in a significant 33% EPS growth for the quarter.
EPS for fiscal 2024 is expected to surpass $4.92, in line with management's guidance. The analysis points out challenges in the Parks segment due to tough comparisons, but predicts that profitability in direct-to-consumer offerings and improved box office performance will boost results.
UBS also mentions the deconsolidation of India assets and potential synergies from Hulu, as well as other cost efficiencies, which could provide further upside as the year progresses. The firm maintains its Buy rating and a price target of $120 on Disney shares.
