Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, is facing significant challenges, reporting its first quarterly loss in five quarters with a Rs 19 crore deficit. The company’s revenue also declined by 7% year-on-year, attributed to a shift in its offline business model and slower-than-expected growth for Mamaearth, which accounts for 65% of its revenue. To address these issues, the company has engaged Bain & Company to help revitalize growth by reworking its distribution and supply chain strategies.
